Greg McMillan is a Principal Consultant at CDI Professional & Industrial working in DeltaV R&D and is a simulation consultant for Mynah Technologies. Greg received the Raymond D Malloy award for Good Tuning: A Pocket Guide, Advanced Control Unleashed, and The Funnier Side of Retirement for Engineers and People of the Technical Persuasion. He has contributed to several handbooks, is the editor of the Process/Industrial Instrumentation and Controls handbook, and has written a monthly “Control Talk” column since 2002. Greg is an ISA Fellow received ISA’s prestigious Life Achievement Award in 2010, received the ISA Kermit Fischer Environmental Award for pH control in 1991, the Control Magazine Engineer of the Year Award for the Process Industry in 1994, and was one of the first inductees into the Process Automation Hall of Fame in 2001. He holds a B.S. in Engineering Physics from the University of Kansas and a M.S. in E.E. (Control Theory) from the University of Missouri - Rolla.
